MORNING ROUTINES & RITUALS
I thought today I’d share with you what I do each morning.
By doing my little morning ritual it makes a huge difference to my day because when I do my ritual I generally have a great day and I’m in the right mindset and I feel calm, balanced and positive about the day ahead.
We all know what it is like when you jump out of bed and rush out the house after pressing the snooze button a few too many times and the snowball effect that can have ~ you can’t find your keys, you spill coffee on yourself, you get caught up in traffic and end up frazzled and a stress head before you’ve even really started your day.
To avoid doing this I’ll let you into a secret and how I make my mornings 100 times better.
I get up a little earlier than anyone else in the house so I’ve got about 30 mins to myself.
I light a scented candle and I ground and protect myself.
I listen to a short guided meditation and set my intention for the day.
I use Affirmations, crystals, essential oils or essences (all the goodies in my energy kit), whatever I’m drawn to help me through the day.
I choose an oracle card for the day
I practice ‘deliberate gratitude’ for all the blessings in my life by writing them in my journal.
I send a blessings ball of light to the planet, humanity and all the animal kingdom. It is so very easy to do a blessing ball of light. Simply rub your hands together, visualise a person you want to send this precious gift to, then simply visualise this person totally encased in a bubble of the highest vibrational white light and intend that you are sending love to that person and it is done. I do this on a regular basis and sometimes I have to smile to myself because someone might message me and say ‘hey I felt something warm and fuzzy today, did you do anything or send me any healing?’ and I tell them that I did send them a blessing ball of light. It’s something that takes only a few minutes but it’s such a lovely gift to pass on. My version of paying it forward but with love.
By doing these simple things that take no longer than 20 mins, I know that I’m going to have a great day from the outset.
